The Scrapbooking Fun Summit is a joint venture between Horizon Performance Insights and The Embellished Connection. We take takes privacy and security of collected data very seriously.

ScrapbookingFunSummit.com is an informational site that empowers paper crafters via education, coaching, and support. The primary focus of news and information presented is for Canadian, EU, Australian and U.S. based businesses.
How does Horizon Performance Insights and The Embellished Connection use information collected?
Personal information collected is primarily used for the purpose in which it is collected: for the distribution of a newsletter, document, electronic course, electronic challenge, or inquiry to interested recipients. In addition, your information is used to:

- Obtain feedback on our website, products, services, summits, giveaways or other aspects of our business
Our Spam Policy
Horizon Performance Insights and The Embellished Connections is opposed to spam. We will only send emails to users that have explicitly requested to receive information. For example, signing up for the Summit, opt-in to our newsletter, filled out a contact form, registered for a free gift/give-away, or purchasing an item.
What information do we collect?
Anonymous Information Collected
An IP address is an anonymous bit of data dropped by all site visitors (both human and bots). It is tracked by the following entities for better security, content creation, and marketing purposes.
Your browser may also send response headers with generic/anonymized information about the type of browser, computer/device, and ISP you are using, and your location by country only.

- Google Analytics– so I can discover the type of content you find most helpful and create more of it. (Note: Google does not have access to this data.)
- Web Hosting Canada – kept in the server logs so the host can identify and stop bad bot attacks.
- YouTube– if you view a YouTube embedded video on the site, the IP info is sent to YouTube to record that the video has been viewed, just as it would if you had watched it directly on YouTube.
- Facebook Pixel Tracking– so I can retarget ads to like-minded site owners on that social platform. (Not your email, just anonymous IPs)
Email Addresses
The Summit’s list service provider is MailerLite
If you elect to join the summit, your email address will be stored on their servers. You can access your info any time by clicking the Manage Your Subscription link at the bottom of any email you receive from us.
We never have, and never will share your email address with any person or entity for marketing purposes. That includes Facebook. We will never upload our email lists to that platform or any other.
Contact Forms
ScrapbookingFunSummit.com may utilizes contact forms on this site. Required information includes full name, email address and phone numbers. The information is stored in the site’s database hosted by Web Hosting Canada. This information is mandatory in order to receive a response.
Comments
Leaving a comment on one of our posts requires that you identify yourself by email address. That info is stored in the site’s database.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if the email address you used is connected to that provider so your avatar displays next to your comment.
On-Going Service Data
Direct communication to you is run by our back office system. Google Workspace – runs the entire back office, including email. Direct emails are retained. (Note: Google does not have access to this data.)
Payments
When purchasing the All Access Pass, VIP Fun Bundle or any other item, we utilize a third-party payment program, PayPal, or Stripe, to process and manage your payment. Certain standard required information includes address and credit card information. Transactions are secured via SSL encryption and credit card details will never be e-mailed.
Live training and online events
Live training and online events are hosted through Zoom. If you participate you will be required to submit personal information to register and login. You may receive email communications in regards to that event. Information submitted for your participation may be stored by the software hosting the event. Please consult their privacy policy.
Program Materials and Recordings
Participants of any online event a consent to recordings being made and shared with participants. Recording of paid programs will only be shared with participates of the same group.
Horizon Performance Insights and The Embellished Connection reserves the right to use, at its sole discretion, course materials, including videos and audio recordings, and materials submitted by a program participants in the context of the program.

Clicking on those links or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share data about you on their site.
